Transfer Office
for Implementation of the
European Youth Work Agenda in Germany

A transfer office funded by the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (BMFSFJ) aims to support the future of this process in Germany and its links with developments and partners across Europe. The transfer office has been located at the DJI/TU Dortmund research partnership since late 2021. It aims to extend and improve the knowledge and visibility of the multifaceted nature of youth work and social work with young people. In addition, the transfer office intends to facilitate an exchange and networking between youth work and social work with young people from the municipal level to the regional, state, federal and European levels. It is also important to identify and design potential areas of successful cooperation between youth work and social work with young people.

In terms of European processes and activities, the transfer office leverages synergies and cooperation opportunities with JUGEND für Europa, which supports the Bonn Process at the European level.

Roadmap

The roadmap illustrates events that will be held or in which the Transfer Agency is involved to shape the European Youth Work Agenda in Germany in 2023. In 2024, the 4th Federal Congress on Youth Work will take place, which is an important milestone in the Bonn Process in Germany.
